Who Owes What is receipt-first: scan the bill, assign line items to people, and share a clear per-person summary—so everyone sees why the split is fair. Your saved splits stay on your device; no account. Receipt images are only sent to third parties to analyze the receipt (e.g. extract items), not to host your bill history. It works as an installable PWA on iOS & Android. For now it’s free to try (I want real usage and honest feedback while things stabilize). When you scan, a referral code is already applied automatically so you don’t have to hunt for one in the flow. Examples of when it shines: “We went out with six people and everyone ordered different things.” “We need to split a long itemized receipt without arguing at the table.” “I want a shareable summary I can drop in WhatsApp in one tap.” It’s built for clarity at the table—fast, fair, and local-first—not another app you have to “manage” forever.
