What inspired us to build whiteTICK? One simple observation: Great candidates were getting rejected… not because they lacked skill, but because they lacked interview preparation. At the same time, companies were struggling to: • shortlist candidates efficiently • conduct technical interviews at scale • find experts for niche technologies • avoid wasting engineering bandwidth on irrelevant interviews We realized the hiring world had optimized resumes (ATS), but not interviews. That’s where whiteTICK started. We wanted to build an AI interviewer that could: ✅ understand a Job Description ✅ adapt questions dynamically ✅ evaluate both technical and communication skills ✅ help candidates improve through practice ✅ help recruiters screen better and faster What evolved during the journey was our perspective. Initially, we thought we were building an interview tool. But over time, we realized we were actually building a confidence engine for candidates and a scalability engine for recruiters.
