What became possible in your product with Astra that was not practical before?

Astra is both the reason I built Which Draft and the model I used to build it. I wanted to see how well it could apply my outbound writing playbook compared with other models using the same prospect and instructions. Using Astra in Codex, I turned that experiment into a working app where anyone can compare drafts, test writing skills, and vote on the messages they’d actually send.

I’ve booked 4,000+ first meetings entirely through cold outbound over five years at Colabra. Over the past year, I’ve been turning that playbook into writing instructions for AI.

I’ve had to revisit those instructions with every new generation of models. Does Astra write better outbound than Sol? How much does the model matter, and how much do the writing instructions matter?
