@rene_nielsen_dk Honestly want to build something which will analyse code as it's opensource. But as openAI APIs are paid won't be able to send a huge amount of tokens to it. It uses github/event api.

@rohan_kulkarni4 So it retrieves commit history? Just asking since i for instance on my solo projects dont really care about commit messages, so i sometimes just write random stuff. But for the enterprise projects im working on we do write commits that makes sense. You should look into making like AI Changelog. I know for sure ok the companies i consult is something they need, currently this is a manual process 😅

@rene_nielsen_dk Yes It takes commit history. Let's have a discussion on this so can make this more better and useful as it seems we might have users already ready. Thinking of some more advances changes into it in upcoming releases.

Congrats on the launch, Rohan! Questions: - How detailed are the summaries, and what kind of insights can developers expect to gain? - Are there any plans to expand the functionality to include collaboration metrics for teams?

@kyrylosilin Currently the insights are for last 7 days. Based on activity of the user on github. As it uses open ai api to analyse it in backend definitely think of taking it to next level when gets some sponsors on github. till that will try to make these more better to use for individual or might be teams too with login and storage.

@pigpen Yes it will. Need to explore more about token privacy. As we need finegrain token of user. For sure will think on this. Nice point.

( RoadMap for WeeklyGithub Development ) Hello Devs ! As you all know I have launched a product named "WeeklyGithub" on ProductHunt. It's getting good responses. To be honest while building it I took it in a fun way. People will come check and forget it. But now after getting responses from multiple people on product hunt I feel it should be much more useful that it is currently. So we can say we are going to dive deeper into insights. I would like to ask you people which features you would like to see in this application. Also let me know your views on allowing users to customise the period of insight. Does this sounds good ? Many more features in my head just need support from you people to make it really useful product. Profile Creation,PWA,Repository Analysis many things going in mind don't know what can be implemented and what cannot be. So picking up feature by feature and launching it.
