Hey everyone, I'm Dodly 👋 I built WeConvertIt because I was tired of file tools that upload your stuff to a server, cut you off after a couple of free files, or push a signup. This one does none of that — every tool runs in your browser, so your files never leave your device (open the Network tab and watch nothing get sent). It's a fairly full kit now: convert and compress images, merge/split/sign/compress PDFs, OCR, HEIC to JPG for iPhone photos, and a background remover where even the AI model runs locally in your browser. The part I haven't really seen elsewhere — you can move a file from one tool to the next without re-uploading it each time. It's my first real product and I built it solo, figuring it out as I went. Clean, intuitive UI – easy to navigate without being overwhelming.
Reliable core tools – Merge PDF and Split PDF work flawlessly and fast.
Wide range of utilities – covers most common conversion needs in one place.
No account required – quick access for one-off tasks.
Good speed on standard document conversions (Word ↔ PDF, JPG ↔ PNG, etc.).

Background Remover – struggles with complex edges and fine details. Needs better AI precision.
"Anything" tool – inconsistent results. Sometimes brilliant, other times frustrating. This needs the most work.
Edit PDF – currently at MVP level. Basic text editing works, but advanced features (form filling, annotation, OCR) are missing or clunky.
Batch processing – would love to upload multiple files at once for bulk conversions.
Mobile responsiveness – could be smoother on smaller screens.
