🚀 Why I Started Building WeBuyBack Hey everyone — I’m Karthik, and I built WeBuyBack because I was honestly fed up with how frustrating it’s become to sell simple things online. I’d try to post something on Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist, and it’d be ghost-town replies, sketchy messages, or 50% lowball offers with some random sob story. eBay felt like it was built for big sellers, not just regular people trying to offload stuff quickly. I realized there had to be a cleaner, simpler way — so I decided to build it. 🆕 What Makes This Different WeBuyBack is a minimal resale platform that cuts out the clutter. No auctions, no weird buyer DMs, no algorithm tricks — just clean listings where buyers can reach out directly. The process is fast. You can even create a listing just by talking — say what you’re selling, and WeBuyBack transcribes and formats it into a real post using AI. (It’s like voice-to-listing, without needing to type.) Plus, I’m designing this for real people, not power sellers — with better pricing suggestions, smarter listing tools, and fewer hoops to jump through. 💡 What I’m Most Proud Of I’m proud of keeping it honest. This isn’t a massive VC-backed marketplace or a slick e-commerce platform. It’s a tool I made for people like me — people who just want to get rid of their old stuff without the stress. I’ve been talking to early users, and the feedback has been 🔥 — people are telling me it feels refreshingly simple, and that means a lot. Thanks for checking it out! If you have questions, ideas, or want to roast the UX (I’m open lol), I’m here all day 👇
