WeBuy – Where Humanity Meets Handcrafted Excellence In a small region of Tunisia called Manouba, a silent truth lives behind the numbers: over 7% of the population lives with disabilities, and despite 4% holding university degrees, more than 90% are unemployed. Why? Not for lack of talent. Not for lack of ambition. But simply because the world wasn't designed with them in mind. WeBuy was created to change that. WeBuy is Tunisia’s first inclusive online marketplace, where products aren’t just sold—they tell a story. Every item is handcrafted, locally made, and born from the hands and hearts of people with disabilities who were trained, mentored, and empowered to reclaim their economic independence. 💡 Our Origin WeBuy started with one belief: dignity should never depend on mobility. We reached out to powerful allies—UTICA, JCI Manouba, and the Union of Tunisian Women—and built a 3-month certified training program to teach practical skills like: Artisan crafts (jewelry, woodwork, décor) Furniture making Home-based digital services Once trained, graduates start producing directly from home—no commuting, no discrimination, no middlemen. 🛒 Our Platform WeBuy is more than an online store. It’s a digital showcase of resilience. Visitors explore: Unique, handmade products with purpose Profiles of the talented creators behind each item An ethical shopping experience where 90–95% of profits go directly to the creator With only a 5–10% commission, WeBuy sustains itself while scaling impact. 📲 Our Reach WeBuy promotes its creators across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and beyond—highlighting not just the products, but the people and pride behind them. Each reel, each post, each video is a window into their world—one that’s breaking stigma and rewriting futures. 🌍 Our Vision WeBuy has already caught attention. The project was ranked 4th out of 1200 projects by the UNICEF Youth Institute of Tunisia. But we’re just getting started.
