Webpage Sherlock

I've always struggled to obtain a straightforward page analysis that encompassed everything - meta tags, images, links, social previews, and more, all in one place. So, I decided to create a tool myself. In the process, I learned how to build a Chrome extension. It’s like getting double the espresso shot in a single cup. 🤠 Simplicity is at the heart of my design. Using this tool is a breeze. Install the Extension > Click on the extension icon, or for even quicker access, use the CMD / CTRL + B shortcut. Your page insights will appear in a popup. It's that easy! 🎉

Oh, sounds interesting!

Installed the extension and it gives me a great overview of what's wrong with a given page. I like how fast it is - it's a good tool to check - fix - check again - until everything is green tool. I tested it on my page weegee.ch and found there are still plenty of things to fix 😅

This is an amazing Chrome extension! I discovered some things I had forgotten to include. What would be extremely helpful, especially for me, is a link that provides more information about what might be wrong. For instance, on one of my pages, it indicates that I lack favicons or schema, but I can see that I have them. It seems I made a mistake, but I'm unsure where. Nevertheless, great job!

Having a tool to analyze our company's website is extremely helpful. Dealing with airfare, there are certain pages we need to keep updated often. The chrome extension has been a huge help to our dev team!
