We built GTM Assistant after seeing how difficult it has become for Shopify brands to get reliable conversion data. A purchase might show up differently in Shopify, Google Ads, Meta, GA4, TikTok, and other platforms because of ad blockers, iOS privacy restrictions, browser limitations, consent choices, and different attribution models. This makes it difficult to understand what’s actually working and can lead to campaigns looking worse than they really are. We wanted to make tracking more reliable without forcing merchants to replace their existing setup. GTM Assistant combines browser and server-side tracking, automatically fixes common tracking issues, deduplicates events, and alerts you when something needs attention. We’re launching on Product Hunt to get feedback from marketers, agencies, and Shopify brands and learn how we can make conversion tracking simpler and more reliable.
