I wanted to try "vibe coding"—seeing how far and fast I could go just by prompting, without writing actual code. I started with a simple idea: a CLI tool that scrapes web documentation into a single Markdown file. (I was frustrated that LLMs kept generating Tailwind 3 code for my Tailwind 4 project.) A couple of hours later, the CLI was up and running! Then I thought, why not take it further and "productize" it as a web app? Half a day later, it was live: https://web2llm.dev/ Feel free to check it out! It's built with Astro, TypeScript, SQLite, and Tailwind (no React!)—running on a $3/month Ubuntu VPS from Hetzner. In the end, I hit my goal: going from 0 to 1 without writing any real code (aside from a bit of CSS). It was fascinating to see where AI excels—and where it still needs a human touch.
