ColorPeek — A macOS menu bar color picker for developers. Pick, copy, paste. 4 formats free, 8 formats Pro $19 lifetime. Tailwind, SCSS, SwiftUI native support.

The menu bar integration is super handy, no extra windows cluttering my screen while I'm tweaking Tailwind palettes. Pricing feels fair for the Pro formats too.
@oztrurk73771 Thanks Duru! Keeping it out of the way was the goal — your screen real estate is too valuable for another floating window. And glad the pricing feels fair, that means a lot coming from someone actually using the tool.
Would love a quick keyboard shortcut to toggle the picker overlay so I don't have to click the menu bar icon every time I'm bouncing between apps. Maybe something like Cmd+Shift+C customizable in preferences. Could also be handy to auto-copy whichever format is currently selected in the dropdown instead of defaulting to hex each time, saves a step when working mostly in SwiftUI or SCSS.
@mesutrende Hey Mesut, these are both excellent suggestions — exactly the kind of workflow friction I want to eliminate.
Keyboard shortcut: Totally agree. Cmd+Shift+C (or customizable) is on the roadmap for the next update. The menu bar click works but breaks flow when you're deep in a design tool.
Auto-copy selected format: This is a great catch. Right now it defaults to HEX which is annoying if you're living in SwiftUI or SCSS. I'm thinking: remember your last-used format, or let you set a default in preferences. Which feels better to you?
Thanks for the detailed feedback — this is why I built it. 🙌
Being able to grab a color straight from the menu bar without opening anything is exactly the kind of small workflow win I didn't know I needed. The Tailwind output is a nice touch for quick prototyping.
@celdirdide97881 Really appreciate that! The menu bar-first approach was a deliberate choice — I got tired of color picker apps that feel like launching Photoshop just to grab a hex code. And yeah, Tailwind support was a personal must-have since I use it on pretty much every project. Thanks for trying it out!
picked a color from my screen and it just showed up in the right tailwind format, no fiddling around. honestly kind of wish i had this sooner
