Mastering usually means a chain of plugins and guesswork, or paying per song. WavMasta is for indie musicians, home producers and Suno creators. It finds hiss, hum, harsh highs, sharp “s” sounds and wide bass with one-click fixes, matches the sound of a song you love, and masters to streaming loudness without clipping. Hear Before and After at equal loudness, master whole albums, and see what changed. Runs on your computer: no uploads, no subscription.

I built WavMasta because getting a home recording or an AI-generated song ready for release meant either paying for a mastering service every time, or learning a stack of plugins. Most of the problems are the same every time: background hiss, mains hum, fizzy highs, harsh “s” sounds, and loudness that’s way off for Spotify.
So WavMasta listens first. Check this song finds those problems and suggests fixes, Use suggestions sets them up in one click, and Before/After plays both at the same loudness, so louder never fools you into thinking better.
It just came to the Mac this week (signed by Apple, Apple Silicon and Intel), and it’s on Windows through the Microsoft Store and itch.io. Everything runs on your own computer, nothing is uploaded, and the code is public on GitHub.
