This research project explores the use of the L2 Pro scanner from XGRIDS, the Arrival.Space platform, and our original sound design. It leverages 3D Gaussian splats technology, recently popularized by Nvidia and Meta in their RanBan presentation, as well as Apple’s iPhone 17 environmental scanning with Blackmagic ProDoc connection. Our approach applies this data format to large-scale environments, such as entire cities. We see it as a ground-level Google Earth prototype—a major step forward in world modeling and mapping technology.
