High-performance GPUFree, open-source spacetime metric simulator. Inspired by MATLAB's WarpFactory, WarpTorch uses AI to port the physics core into Python/PyTorch for 10x-100x GPU acceleration. Features an interactive 3D web UI (React/Three.js) and Jupyter Lab integration. Run it with one command via Docker and start warping spacetime in your browser!-accelerated toolkit for simulating warp drive spacetimes using PyTorch

Hello !
Im a full-stack developer who wants to see interstellar travel happen in our lifetime.
The Problem: Alpha Centauri is our nearest neighbor star system. With our best current technology (chemical rockets), it would take 63,000 years to get there. That is longer than all of recorded human history.
The Solution: A Warp Drive is a theoretical technology from Einstein's physics that bends space-time, allowing us to travel faster than light without breaking the laws of physics. It could shrink that 63,000-year journey down to just a few months.
Why I built WarpTorch:
Modern warp research is moving too slowly because the main simulation tool (WarpFactory) is built in MATLAB — which is expensive, hard to use, and locked behind university walls.
I used AI to port the core physics into Python/PyTorch for massive GPU acceleration and built a modern 3D web UI with React Three Fiber. Now, anyone can run warp drive simulations in their browser for free with a single Docker command.
I want to democratize this niche so more minds can look for a way to the stars. Would love to hear your feedback on the UI and tech stack!
