Hey everyone, I’ve been working on WallTune, a native macOS app for image and video wallpapers. It helps you browse curated wallpapers, add local media, apply them to one display, all displays, or a spanned multi-monitor setup, and fine-tune alignment with a Monitor Editor. You can create playlists, rotate wallpapers automatically, set video wallpapers on the Lock Screen, control playback from the menu bar, and adjust performance for fullscreen apps or battery use. Feedback is welcome!

I’ve been building WallTune, a macOS app for image and video wallpapers, especially for multi-monitor setups. It supports curated wallpapers, local media, playlists, auto-rotation, spanned wallpapers, Lock Screen videos, menu bar playback controls, and performance options for fullscreen apps or battery mode.
Curious how others manage wallpapers across multiple displays: do you prefer simple static setups, rotating playlists, or more immersive video wallpapers?

Curious how it handles performance when running a video wallpaper alongside something like a Zoom call or quick screen sharing, any noticeable hit on the Mac? Also wondering if the playlists can mix photos and videos together or if those have to stay separate.

@saliha464180 Hi the performance it's really smooth even on multiple monitors, I work with heavy programs, and I don't see any impact on the performance, and yes, the playlist can change between videos and images, you dont need to have them separate

Finally checked this out and the menu bar playback controls are a nice touch. Multi-monitor alignment worked pretty smoothly on my setup too.

The multi-monitor alignment controls are really well thought out, and the menu bar playback toggle is super handy when juggling video wallpapers.
