Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Metehan, the solo developer behind WakeGuard. We’ve all been there: driving late at night, trying to fight heavy eyelids, relying on loud music or an open window. I wanted to build a technological safety net for those moments. How it works: WakeGuard uses the iPhone's TrueDepth camera (ARKit) to track your exact eye closure duration in milliseconds. If your eyes close for more than 2 seconds, all hell breaks loose: your phone sounds a loud alarm, and your Apple Watch delivers a strong haptic vibration directly to your wrist. The Apple Review Struggle 😅 Fun fact: Apple rejected the app during the review process because they said I couldn't medically "prove" it cures fatigue. I had to pivot the marketing from an "Anti-Sleep Alarm" to an "Eye Closure Detection Utility." Gotta love the App Store review process! But the core mission remains the same: keeping drivers safe.
