i accidentally built a tool that took my account 1.8M+ views a month.
it started as a personal experiment on my @web.zeppelin IG account. i just wanted to recycle my old posts automatically.
each video only got a few thousand views, but automating the posting made the monthly views explode (shear volume).
friends started asking if they could use it too…
so i turned it into wahlu a public version of the system i built for myself. Then i extended it into a conventional social media scheduler too, plus some ai content generation tools.
a couple months ago, i left my corporate job to go all in on it.
it’s been a long road. the hardest part was meta literally blocking their own testers from using the test accounts, so it took months to get approval 💀. After engineering a bit of a 2fa workaround for facebook, I finally got instagram, facebook approved.
