Hello Product Hunt community! 👋
I'm Jaseph, the founder of Voylera. As a traveler for the last 13 years, I've collected thousands of photos. But looking back at them, I always felt something was missing.
My photos proved where I was, but they failed to capture how I felt—the awe, the peace, the adrenaline. I just felt our digital memories had become emotionally hollow.
Voylera is my answer. It’s built on a simple idea: What if we could map the world with our feelings?
It lets you drop a pin on a map for any memory and attach the core emotion you felt there. You can add a short story and a photo, building out your own personal atlas of feelings over time. The bigger goal is to create a new way to find travel inspiration, helping you discover places based on a vibe or a feeling, not just a filter.
This project is a true labor of love, born from a real need to remember our journeys more honestly. It's for anyone who believes the feeling is the real souvenir.
I’ll be here all day to answer every single question and would be so grateful for your feedback. We're just getting started, so your thoughts are incredibly valuable.
As a thank you to the PH community, the first 1,000 users who sign up will get a "Pioneer" badge on their profile!
What's a memory you have where the feeling was far more important than the photo?
Thanks for checking out Voylera! ❤️
Finally, a travel app that isn't just about finding the most Instagrammable spots! Congrats on building something with soul.
I'm curious about the 'collections' feature. Could this be used to plan future trips based on a desired mood? For example, could I create a 'My Next Zen Trip' collection and save peaceful memories from others to it? Really cool concept!
@bybilgi Thank you so much for the great question and the kind words! It means a lot.
You've hit on exactly one of the core ideas behind the 'Collections' feature. Yes, absolutely! You can 100% use it to plan future trips based on a mood. Your 'My Next Zen Trip' example is the perfect use case for what we envision.
Right now, you can create these collections and save inspiring memories. In the future, we want to build on this heavily. Imagine being able to see your 'Zen Trip' collection visualized on a map, or even getting recommendations for other peaceful spots near the ones you've already saved.
We believe planning trips based on a desired feeling, not just a location, is the future of authentic travel. Thanks again for sparking this great discussion!
