VoteMate Canada 2019: All of the policies you care about; None of the politicking.

A few weeks ago, I was amazed to watch the Global Climate Strike bring young people to the streets across all of Canada. Young people who have heard all their life that they're lazy, uninformed, cynical, and uncaring about politics. Yet there they were, engaging in a way that most citizens, young and old, minority or majority, never ever do. I've known for a long time that one of the biggest reasons why people don't vote is they don't know enough about where each party - or each candidate - stands. We live in a busy world, and once you reach 18, you've got a lot more to worry about than politics. Party websites are confusing, they're full of political gobbledygook, and in the end, they're not at all useful. That's where VoteMate comes in. VoteMate is a website you can use to check out the parties even just on the way to the polls. It has every policy on every issue from every major party, along with policies and biographies from many of the candidates.
