Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Uday, and VoTask came out of a very real problem at our company: our meetings happen in a mix of Telugu, Hindi and English — often in the same sentence. Every task manager we tried assumed someone would sit down after the meeting and type up action items in English. Nobody ever did, so commitments made out loud just evaporated. So we built the tool around how our team actually talks. VoTask takes a transcript or audio recording and extracts the tasks people already committed to — who owns it (it understands "Ravi, deployment documentation ready cheyyandi by tomorrow"), when it's due ("repu", "by Friday" → real dates), and how urgent it sounds. Extracted tasks arrive as suggestions you review and assign, not silent auto-created work. The approach evolved a lot along the way. We started with pure extraction, but realized capture is only half the problem — so it grew into a full execution platform: approval workflows, splitting a task across teammates, comments and attachments, team chat, a points leaderboard, push notifications, and a voice assistant that can create, assign and update tasks hands-free (with on-screen confirmation before anything changes). It ships as a web app and a native Android app, and we use it every day at Befach to run our own work. Would love your feedback — especially from teams that don't work in just one language.
