I'm Pankaj, one of the makers behind Volanea.
This started because we kept hitting the same wall on our own products. Transactional email lived in one tool, marketing campaigns in another, and neither knew the other existed. The same person would get a password reset from one system and a "we miss you" campaign from the other on the same day.
