Hey everyone! 👋 I'm the solo founder behind Voklit. Built this out of pure frustration. I travel a lot and constantly need to call banks, airlines, government offices overseas. My carrier wanted $2-3/min for international calls. Skype quality was hit or miss. But it's now gone. So I built what I needed: a real US phone number that works from anywhere, with rates that don't make me wince every time I dial. I've tried to make the experience actually pleasant. See your rate before you call. No surprise bills. Credits that don't expire. It's bootstrapped, profitable enough to keep the servers running, and I use it daily myself (my own dogfooding keeps me honest). Currently web-only with US numbers.
