Hey PH š I'm kusa, solo dev behind Voince.
I built this because I was tired of retyping invoice data into spreadsheets by hand. Full accounting platforms were overkill ā I just wanted a PDF in and clean data out.
How it works:
ā Upload PDF ā AI extracts fields ā Python validates the math ā export to CSV/Excel
Two things that make it different:
The AI is self-hosted on my own VPS. Invoices never touch OpenAI, Google, or any external provider.
AI extracts, but Python decides. Every arithmetic check (subtotal + tax = total, line items sum) is done by deterministic code, not by the model guessing numbers.
Free: 10 invoices/month. Pro: $10/month.
Limitations: PDFs need a text layer (no OCR yet), and complex layouts sometimes lose a line item ā that's why inline editing + validation are part of the flow.
