Record microphone, tab audio, or both together in Chrome. Voice Kit keeps waveforms, source links, snapshots, trimming, playback, and MP3/WebM/WAV exports local in your browser.

Stoked this runs entirely in the browser with no upload step, the tab plus mic mix worked on the first try and trimming before export was dead simple.
@beyzatanrkur6p Thanks so much! I’m really happy the tab + mic mix worked smoothly on the first try.
v0.2.0 adds a few workflow improvements on top of that: Chrome-level global shortcuts, subtitles, and AI subtitle summaries when the browser supports it. Still keeping the same local-first direction, with no upload step.
Love that everything stays local in the browser, no uploads needed. The waveform view with source links right next to it is a really thoughtful touch for someone juggling multiple recordings.
Thank you, really glad the local-first approach comes through.
I’ve been trying to make Voice Kit useful not only for recording, but also for finding and reviewing recordings later. In v0.2.0, I added subtitles and AI subtitle summaries when the browser supports it, alongside the existing waveform and source context.
The goal is exactly what you mentioned: helping people manage multiple recordings without uploading anything.
