Record microphone, tab audio, or both together in Chrome. Voice Kit keeps waveforms, source links, snapshots, trimming, playback, and MP3/WebM/WAV exports local in your browser.

One thing that would make this a daily driver for me is a keyboard shortcut to start and stop recording without clicking the extension icon, plus maybe a hotkey to instantly trim and save the last clip as MP3. That would save a lot of friction when capturing quick voice memos.
This looks genuinely handy for keeping recordings organized without uploading anywhere. One thing I'd love is keyboard shortcuts for starting, pausing, and stopping a recording so I can keep my hands free while presenting or just moving faster.
The tab audio capture worked smoothly without extra setup, and having the trimming and export happen right in the browser feels genuinely convenient rather than just another upload tool.
A drag and drop area for batch importing multiple audio files at once would save a ton of time, especially when you need to trim and export several clips in a row. Right now it looks like you handle one source at a time which can get tedious for bigger projects.
Love that everything stays local, the trimming and export options in the browser are super handy. One thing I'd love is keyboard shortcuts for start, stop, and split during recording so I can quickly chop up long captures without breaking my flow.
Finally a Chrome recorder that does not bury the source link under three menus, the trim handles actually let me cut cleanly without re-encoding everything.
