One thing I didn't expect while building this: with image-to-video, the photo you pick matters far more than the prompt does.
What works: one clear subject, real depth (something near, something far), and something in frame that already moves — hair, cloth, water, sky, smoke.
What doesn't: screenshots, flat graphics, big group shots. There's nothing in them that can move, so the model invents warping instead. Faces are the worst offender, and the fix is usually just cropping in tighter so the face has more pixels to work with.
