@trovatten Hey Frederick! Glad you like it, and thank you for bringing this to our attention as we were unaware. We feel that our name best represents our overall goal for the community as a whole, and it is extremely relevant to photography. I donβt think we could have chosen a better name! π
@trovatten I agree, it was the first thing I thought, there're tons of apps with "Exposure" in the name. It may be tricky to find the app searching by name
Hi Product Hunt! π
My name is Eddie, and I started a photographer & model collaboration platform called fltr. The platform facilitates connecting the creative community together so they can create anytime and anywhere.
I got the idea back in December when I went on a photography trip to Portland and tried using Tinder to connect with people to shoot with in the area. I realized there was nothing better to facilitate this need, and thought that there had to be something better. Immediately when I got back from the trip, my co-founder and I started working on bringing the idea to life.
We are extremely excited to make our beta version available to photographers and models everywhere! Itβs amazing to already see creators connecting on our platform and the positive feedback that we have received from the community!
Weβd love to get feedback and answer any questions!
Eddie & The fltr. Team π

I'm looking for a wedding photographer
Report
First of all, I would advise you to study the portfolios of photographers popular in your city and those who have shot the weddings of your acquaintances. It is worth paying attention to those whose photos you like stylistically. A wedding photographer requires significant experience - find out how many years the photographer has been shooting in this genre. If budget is the deciding factor, you want a novice photographer. A good photographer can't be cheap. My brother's wedding was shot by wedding photographer Hunter Valley, and we got magical photos!

This looks awesome, @eddles153! I'm a hobby photographer, so this looks like a great platform.
Have you heard of H Hub? How does Exposure compare with their app?
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/...
@lamaalrajih Thank you so much @lamaalrajih! The way you connect is completely different! Both parties have to like each others work in order to start a conversation. We are working on a few features to really bring the community together. We are really excited to unveil them to everyone when they are ready! π

Hi men @EddieFlickinger , congratulation for your produc launch. Have you heard about theHhub.com ? i knew it since 2015, and its quite similar with your service. But then, go ahead and keep hustling. Success

@eddieflickinger@farisannas I see that The H Hub has Exposure's feature of connecting with others - but it sucks because not everyone has access to it - you have to apply. It's a hand-selected membership, whereas Exposure is open to all - and it's super simple yet unique. Love the concept of both platforms, though!
So excited about this! The product looks amazing and itβs great to see the photography community embrace it so passionately.
Iβm not a photographer or model (yet), but I got to work with Eddie on a previous startup and am always impressed by his hustle. Would not bet against Exposure or him.
Congrats Eddie!
@lazalberto Thank you so much for the support Laz! π Can't wait for you to start your photography/modeling career!

This app is awesome. The photography community has grown substantially, and I love seeing platforms that are bringing the community closer. As a photographer, when I moved states, I wasn't able to find anyone who shared my passion. I would have to go on Instagram and look at the stories that were posted near me to find potential friends/photographers/models - but it was time consuming because so many people on Instagram weren't photographers. With Exposure, that time has lessened a bunch. Can't wait for more people to get on this and start collab'ing. I'm excited to see where Exposure will be in a few years!
PS. Love the name and Logo. It's so simple, but so awesome. Eddie, I'm glad to see you posted it on ProductHunt!
Pros:
Simple and Unique
Cons:
Not a lot of people know about it! (Yet...)
