VisualHFT is a desktop terminal for reading market microstructure in real time: live order book depth, VPIN, LOB imbalance, and market resilience metrics across crypto and equities. It connects to Binance, Kraken, Coinbase, Bitfinex, and more, and replays historical sessions for backtesting. Free Community tier for hobbyists, plans from $129/mo for solo quants and systematic traders.
See order flow in real time. Founders Beta is now open.
VisualHFT prices a working market-microstructure terminal from $0, with paid plans starting at $129/mo, no enterprise sales call required. This launch opens the Founders Beta: live L2 order book depth, VPIN, LOB imbalance, and market resilience metrics across 7 crypto venues, GPU-accelerated charts, a session recorder and replay engine for backtesting, and a plugin SDK for custom studies. Built for solo quants and systematic traders, not just desks with a data-vendor budget.
I spent 20+ years building trading systems for banks and hedge funds, and the same problem kept coming back: once an algorithm was live, there was no good way to see what it was actually doing. The only option was digging through logs after something had already gone wrong.
I built VisualHFT to fix that. It started as an internal tool in 2015, then went open-source in 2019. It's grown into a real-time market microstructure terminal: live order book depth, VPIN, LOB imbalance, market resilience metrics, a replay engine for backtesting, and a plugin SDK if you want to build your own studies.
Today we're opening the Founders Beta to a wider group. Access is by request (link above), the Community tier is free, and paid plans start at $129/mo. If you're a solo quant, a systematic trader, or you just want to see what your order flow is actually doing, I'd like your feedback.
