Hello my fellow Hunters! 👋 I built Viral Thumbnail Generator after spending way too much time making YouTube thumbnails that still didn’t perform. As a builder/marketer, I kept running into the same problem: Great videos with terrible CTR because the thumbnail wasn’t doing its job. Most tools either felt too manual (basically Photoshop with templates) or too generic and bulky. So the goal was simple: -Generate thumbnails that are actually optimized for virality, not just “nice-looking.” The approach evolved a lot while building this: -Early versions were purely design-based → results were inconsistent I started studying high-CTR thumbnails, patterns, contrast, facial framing, text density, and emotional triggers. Then I baked those learnings directly into the generation process, so creators don’t have to guess anymore. Now the product focuses on: -Speed (seconds, not hours) -High-contrast, attention-grabbing layouts -Designs meant to stand out next to other thumbnails, not in isolation Would love feedback from: -YouTubers -Indie hackers -Marketers who’ve struggled with CTR Happy to answer questions or ship improvements based on what you all think!
