Hi Product Hunt — I built Viewoo because I kept hitting the same frustrating wall: the TikTok login gate.
When someone sends you a TikTok link, or there's a public account you want to check, the only native way in is to sign up or install the app. And signing in doesn't just add friction — on a Story, it puts your name on the viewer list.
Sometimes you just want to look at a public account (a friend's, a competitor's, someone a friend mentioned) anonymously: without showing up as a viewer, and without turning a 5-second look into a social event.
Viewoo is a browser-based viewer that fills this gap. Paste a username or any TikTok link, and it opens the account's public Stories, Profile, Videos, Reposts, and Comments in seconds.
👉 No account. No app. Free.
Try it at https://viewoo.co.
Who is this for?
- The curious: You don't have TikTok but want to see one public account.
- The link-clicker: You were sent a link and don't want to install an app just for one video.
- The pros: Social-media managers and creators checking a competitor's latest posts.
- The researchers: Journalists who need a public page they can cite without tying the lookup to a personal TikTok account.
A few things I want to be upfront about:
🔒 Public content only. Private accounts stay private. There is no way around that, and I don't want one.
⏱️ Stories are on a 24-hour clock. If an account has no active story when you look, the Stories tab will say so — that's TikTok's rule, not a bug. (Pro tip: Try the Videos or Profile tab; those are there any time).
🤝 Independent. Viewoo is not affiliated with TikTok or ByteDance.
I'd love your feedback on two things:
- What's the one feature you wish a tool like this had? (As a regular user, what would make checking a public account much easier for you?)
- What would make the profile and video pages more useful for your research or social-media work?
Thanks for taking a look! Drop your questions below, I'll be hanging out in the comments.
