Vidfiddle reads each new post in your RSS feed, writes a short script, renders a vertical video on your own server for about 6 cents, and holds it for your OK. Approved videos get scheduled through Publer, Postiz or TryPost. Open source, MIT licensed.

Hey Product Hunt, I'm Preston. I built this tool for myself earlier in the year to help repurpose blogs I had sitting there into viral-style videos that could be scheduled out and augment my social calendar. I found it tremendously helpful so am now releasing it as an open source tool.
Vidfiddle is a small open-source app you run yourself. Point it at your blog's RSS feed and for each post it writes a 30 to 60 second script, draws every scene in one style (there are eight presets, from felt diorama to sci-fi paperback, or describe your own), adds a voice, word-by-word captions and music, and writes a caption for each platform. Nothing goes out until you approve it, and approved videos land on your calendar through Publer, Postiz or TryPost.
You can create 1-5 videos per post, so this can indeed turn into a lot of videos for you very quickly.
A 30-second video costs about 6 cents in OpenAI usage, on your own key. There's no Vidfiddle account and nothing to pay us.
It's rough in places: one user per install, and the video engine needs an OpenAI key. I'd love feedback on the setup, and on which styles you'd want next.
