So I really enjoy immersion learning (aka watching videos in my target language). However, my target language is somewhat niche, and finding interesting content that I can understand as a medium-beginner has been hard. Also, I've found it to be quite easy to kind of zone out while watching videos, and not really taking in anything, much less doing any active recall. To fix this, I had the following idea: What if you had an app where you select a video that looks interesting, and then piece by piece you practice the vocabulary needed to understand a bit of the video, watch a bit of video, rinse and repeat. This is basically what my prototype is about. I've added some common languages to learn, and I'm happy to add more — please tell me what you think :)
