VideoTwin Finder: Too many similar videos? Save just the best ones.

Hey Product Hunt, I am launching VideoTwin Finder because I kept running into a video cleanup problem that normal duplicate file apps did not solve. Most duplicate finders are good at exact matches: same file size, same bytes, same hash. My video library was messier than that. I had years of clips spread across folders and external drives, with copies that had been re-encoded, resized, renamed, backed up, or exported more than once. They were clearly the same or nearly the same video, but not identical files. VideoTwin Finder looks at the videos themselves. It finds exact duplicates, but it also compares sampled frames, duration, perceptual hashes, and metadata so it can group visually similar videos even when the encoding or file size differs. In the review view, it shows thumbnails and technical details, then suggests the best-resolution version to keep. The local index is a big part of the workflow. If your videos are spread across external drives, old archives, and folders you do not always have connected, you can scan over time and compare new folders or individual files against what has already been indexed. I used it on my own collection and reclaimed more than 250 GB. The bigger win was finally understanding which copy was worth keeping instead of guessing from filenames.
