Hey PH, I built VideoBro because of a specific, annoying pattern: eight of us go somewhere, all eight of us film it, and the video never gets made. The footage sits in eight camera rolls. Someone starts a shared album, it fills up with clips nobody watches, and that's where it ends. The thing I kept coming back to is that a shared album is a bucket everyone throws clips into afterward. A tape is one camcorder several people are holding at once. So VideoBro is a tape. You start one, invite up to seven other people, and everyone films into it from their own iPhone while the thing is actually happening. Clips land in the order they were shot, credited to whoever shot them. When it's over, somebody taps Develop and it comes back as one film. Deliberate constraints, because they're the whole point: the entire editor is swipe-to-delete and hold-to-trim. No reordering, no filters, no music. A home movie is footage in order, not a production. Two hours and eight people per tape on every plan, and those aren't upsells, they're what keeps it a home movie. Filming needs an iPhone.
