This creates perfect privacy and perfect sync. Only people who have the exact same video hash can join the same room.

Hi everyone, I am the creator of Video Party and I am really excited to share this tool with you today. The idea came from a simple frustration. Every watch together app out there streams your video through someone else’s server. That means slow sync, constant buffering, and almost no privacy. I wanted a way to watch videos with friends that felt natural, instant, and completely private. So I built Video Party around one core principle. Your video stays on your device at every moment. Nothing is uploaded and nothing is stored. The server only sends tiny real time signals like play and pause. That is it. Your file never leaves your computer. Everyone watches the exact same video only because everyone already has the same file. This keeps sync perfect and creates a viewing experience that feels like you are sitting together in the same room. The privacy is real because only people with the same file hash can join. I would say there is really no limit. there is a server that just manages socket connections. chats, video play and pause, seek forward, seek backward. The voice chat is also P2P. also the file transfer, so there is no limit. the P2P voice chat max is 4 people.
