I built VibeTuner because I wanted a music player that felt like mine.
I had tried other music apps, but none felt quite right for the way I wanted to listen. Some felt overwhelming, while others didn’t offer the comfortable, personal experience I was looking for. I wanted a simple place for my own music, with a design I liked and features that made sense to me.
VibeTuner lets me listen to my music offline, organize songs into playlists, and personalize the player with different themes and skins. When I’m online, cloud sync helps keep my songs and playlists available across my phone and laptop. I also wanted the player to keep going when I move between screens, so I can browse my library without interrupting the music.
Building it gave me more than an app. I got to shape the design around my own preferences and learn how Supabase, account sign-in, databases, storage, and cloud syncing work together. Seeing songs and playlists sync between devices made the project feel complete—and helped me understand how a real app can connect local use with online features.
I built VibeTuner for my own listening habits, my own comfort, and my own sense of style. That’s what makes it special to me: it doesn’t feel like a generic player I have to adapt to. It feels like a personal music app I created for myself.
