Hey Product Hunt, I built VibePet because my AI coding setup got weirdly noisy. Claude Code might be waiting for approval, Codex might be rate-limited, Cursor might have finished a review, and none of those tools talk to each other. The important signal was always buried in a tab, terminal, or notification. VibePet folds those signals into a tiny native macOS companion that lives in the MacBook notch or menu bar. The pet changes mood for running, waiting, approval, review, rate limit, error, done, and sleeping states, so you can tell what needs attention without context-switching. It currently watches Claude Code, Codex CLI, Cursor, Gemini, Trae, Copilot CLI, Factory, and OpenCode. It is local-first by design: it reads the files and hooks those tools already write, and it does not send prompt content, code diffs, tokens, or telemetry off your Mac. I would love feedback from people running multiple AI coding agents at once: which signals should VibePet surface first, and what should a calmer multi-agent desktop feel like?

Quick v0.1.6 update: I just added a fuller gallery so you can see the real app instead of only the landing page: the notch/menu status capsule, AI tool detection, customization, sounds, and the About/update flow.

This release also adds Windsurf support, improves Trae detection, and fixes the macOS updater install loop when /Applications needs admin permission.
