What inspired me to build VibeNVR was the need for a surveillance solution that stayed out of the way. I wanted something that felt modern and fast, but strictly respected privacy. Traditional NVRs often feel bloated or force you into the cloud. I wanted to see if I could use 'vibe coding' and AI to create a tool that is actually fun to use focusing on a lightning-fast local setup and total control over your own data. It’s all about keeping things simple, local, and efficient.
