Hi everyone,
I'm Kayhwee, and we're excited to share our first app with you all: vibecheck.
The Problem
We live in an age of endless recommendations. Every day, influencers and creators show us amazing new spots we have to try. The result? Our camera roll quickly becomes a digital graveyard of cool places, and the sheer volume led to a quiet, constant decision paralysis.
Our Solution
I built vibecheck as an antidote to that noise. It’s a deliberately simple library for all those spots. You can save any link, add a quick note, and see everything on a map. The real magic is the Decider - a one-tap button that cuts through the noise and picks your next adventure for you.
We focused on creating a clean, fast, and intuitive experience that does one thing perfectly.
What's Next for vibecheck?
This is just the beginning. We still have much we want to do, and even more to learn. We don't believe in nailing it on the first try, and that learning from experience is the best way to move forward. Hence, we would love for early feedback that would directly shape the future of the app.
Some features that we have planned include:
The "Personalization" Release: Creating your own custom categories and owning your list!
The "Nostalgia" Release: Attaching photos after you've finally tried out a spot, and being able to revisit them the next time you wanna share a story about how you spent your birthday at the perfect cocktail bar.
