Running true frame-by-frame optical flow in the cloud is just too expensive for them to scale, so they rely on cheap heuristics and miss obvious fakes. We originally tried building this as a web SaaS, but realized the compute costs would bankrupt us instantly. So we pivoted and built a beast of a local desktop app instead. The Ripper runs 100% locally on your own GPU. No Cloud Limits: You aren't waiting in a server queue or hitting upload caps. Total Privacy: Your files never leave your machine.
