VVM (Vibe Video Meets) is a P2P marketplace for thematic networking and expert consultations. Replacing fragmented Marketplace+Calendly+Zoom+Billing setups, VVM offers a built-in user database with smart filtering by topics and locations. Users can discover experts, check calendars, and book free thematic meets or paid sessions. VVM runs on an in-house low-latency real-time video engine for 1-on-1 calls and micro-groups up to 5 people. It features automated Escrow billing via PayPal Business API
Hello Product Hunt community!
I’m Pavel Filonchik, a developer and the solo founder of VVM (Vibe Video Meets). I built this project to solve a specific problem in the mobile ecosystem: modern digital communication is highly fragmented. Today, if an independent expert wants to find a client, schedule a call, and get paid, they have to force the user to switch between 3 or 4 different mobile apps and web services.
VVM solves this by combining a searchable database, interactive calendar slots, internal text chats, a custom WebSockets/Socket.io video core (up to 5 people), and a digital wallet into a single cross-platform mobile app interface.
Our production mobile apps are already live in the App Store and Google Play, and we are currently onboarding our first wave of organizers and users. We are also setting up our EU operational HQ to integrate and activate the PayPal Business API. Here is how the core loop functions directly inside the app:
• For Organizers: You create a meeting card inside the catalog (select a topic like hobby, career, or art), define the format (1-on-1 or a group up to 5 people), choose if it's free or paid, and open your available calendar slots.
• For Participants: You use smart filters to navigate through categories or expertise, find a relevant speaker, and book an available slot. The Organizer then manually approves or rejects the booking request.
• Free Flow: Once approved, the Organizer generates a direct video room link on the meeting creation page and manually sends it to the built-in text chat.
• For paid formats, the Organizer adds a fixed cost on the creation page, and the payment link is automatically mirrored to the Participant’s "Wallet" screen, where they can view approved organizers and securely initiate the payment. Funds are never stored on the platform; they are temporarily frozen via the PayPal Business API. Once the scheduled meeting time ends, the system automatically cross-references timestamps to verify if both parties were inside the same video room for over 10 minutes. If verified, PayPal executes an 80/20 split payout to the Organizer. If the organizer fails to join or a technical error occurs under the 10-minute mark, a transaction rollback returns 100% of the funds to the Participant within an hour.
