Avibe turns your own machine into a home for your AI partner. One command runs the official Claude Code, Codex, or OpenCode locally, operated from a browser Workbench — installable as a desktop or mobile app with notifications — or any chat app. Your code, keys, and data never leave your machine; bring your own subscription and switch agents per task. The Agent Harness schedules work, watches for events, and reports back on its own timeline. Built end-to-end with Avibe itself. Open source.

Hey Product Hunt! I'm Alex, the maker of Vibe Remote.
I built this because I kept running into the same problem: AI coding agents like Claude Code are incredible, but they're trapped inside a terminal. The moment I step away from my laptop, I lose access to the most productive tool in my workflow.
One day I was on my phone, saw a bug report in Slack, and thought — why can't I just tell Claude Code to fix it right here? That's how Vibe Remote started.
The idea is simple: your chat app becomes the interface for your AI coding agents. Slack, Discord, or Lark — whichever your team already lives in. Each thread is an isolated session. You can run multiple agents in parallel across different channels. And everything stays local — your code never leaves your machine.
What I'm most proud of:
- 10-second install — one command and a setup wizard, no manual config
- Multi-agent routing — switch between Claude Code, OpenCode, and Codex mid-conversation by just typing AgentName: your message
- Real interactivity — file selections, confirmations, and options show up as native chat buttons/modals, not raw CLI prompts
This is 100% open source (MIT). I've been using it daily as my own coding workflow for months — dogfooding through the same Slack and Discord channels.
Would love your feedback. What agents or platforms would you want to see supported next?
