Reviewers consistently say Via helps them turn a messy brain dump into a realistic, adjustable daily schedule, making it easier to choose the right next task instead of juggling long lists. What's great

Via is the first one that feels like it was built around how I actually think. I dump everything in my head into it, half-formed and out of order, and it auto-categorizes it, figures out dependencies between tasks I didn't even spell out, re-sorts priorities, and estimates how long things will actually take. I'm not organizing anymore, I'm just offloading, and the system does the organizing.

The AI integration is where it really separates itself. It's not just taking whatever I give it and filing it away. I can actually talk to it about my schedule, tell it something's changed, ask it to reconsider how things are laid out, and it responds like it's actually listening rather than just executing a command. It's less like a tool and more like an assistant that hears what you're saying and has the ability to make sense of it and act on it.

What needs improvement

Given where the team is at with this product, how much they listen to the community, how quickly they're developing, and most importantly, how much the product is already where I need it to be, I'm thrilled about where they're going. They're early on, but already lightyears ahead of the established brands in terms of functionality. A lot of what I'm wanting has already been added to the roadmap.

vs Alternatives

I've cycled through TickTick, Apple Reminders, Asana, Trello, and ClickUp over the years, and every single one of them made me feel like I was managing the tool instead of managing my day. Trello's boards looked great for about two weeks before I stopped dragging cards. Asana and ClickUp gave me more structure than I needed and I'd lose time just deciding which field to fill in. Apple Reminders and TickTick were fast to capture into, but they never actually told me what to do next, so my list just grew into a guilt pile. Every one of them worked the way the app's designer thought a task list should work, not the way my head actually works.

What's great

Great software for visual thinkers, ADHDers, or folks who value smart scheduling software. I've used this software for a few months now, and it's definitely helpful in scheduling my days & weeks. Via breaks down some of my loftier goals and helps me both break down the tasks & schedule them into actual time slots in my calendar, greatly increasing my follow-through. Time blocking is tough for ADHDers, but this makes it easier & more flexible, as it is very adaptable to my needs. I really appreciate that it has MCP as well, so I can have Claude import tasks or chats into VIA to be processed. This is truly a smart team! I like that they are Irish as well, one of my favorite accents. Helpful that Ireland is very tech, business & finance-friendly as well, so that gives me extra confidence in their team

What needs improvement

I'd love a bit more flexibility with the UI. I am not as big of a fan of the Metro Windows 8 look. I like Morgen's UI a bit more. Some more control or templates for the desktop UI would be welcome; differnt sizing, color choices, gradients, turn off animations or have a more nested style of organizing. Really excited for the continued visual updates & whitebaord vision board style updates. I think more in mindmaps & nodes, which is one huge reason I'm sticking with VIA. I would love to not need to click around as much. I haven't checked if there were shortcuts yet, but that's important. May already have it, just haven't taken the 3 minutes needed to really look at it.

I subscribed to Morgen for years and left it for Notion. But I didn't end up liking Notioncal. Via is the best fit for me so far. Founders are great, communicative, and are building the product around users' needs, not around investor appeasements or trying to look good on paper. Works great and plays very well with all my existing AI tools.

What's great

Via has become essential for planning my busy days and weeks while running my own business and maintaining an active personal life. It turns everything I need to do into a realistic plan, so I spend less time reorganizing tasks—and no longer lose track of things I previously might have missed.

The support is excellent, the regular updates keep making the product better, and the mobile app makes it easy to stay organized wherever I am. It’s the best planning tool I’ve used.

What needs improvement

Apple Car Play connectivity would complete it!

What's great

I work in a marketing inhouse for a company where there's a mix of ongoing projects that I can work on whenever, that I fully control myself, and daily tasks or "orders" from other colleagues within the company such as website fix, ads questions, etc, these usually need to be completed within 48h.

As a person with literally 0 structure except having everything in my head Via has been a great. One can only keep working as I did for so long until the brain says no. My issue was I had so many tasks that I didnt know where to start and finish my days since I had so many tasks piled up. So I just randomly did them based on what was most burning in the moment. This left some tasks untouched for weeks and also created brain fog and a feeling of being overwhelmed.

I moved from Asana to Via, or rather I use them both but mostly Via, in a way where Via has been great at creating a daily schedule for me so I know what I can and should do. It also motivates me to complete tasks and seeing that visually. As for the daily orders we get that can vary a lot from day to day, I simply put it in the schedule either manually or brain dump.

I'm sure I can get more out of the tool but I've been a bit lazy with exploring everything.

What needs improvement

I'd love a native Mac OS app so that the focus timer could live in the dynamic island or top bar. And it would propably feel more smooth as currently I have to refresh from time to time so that the schedule syncs with my clock.

What's great

I've been using Via pretty much everyday for about 2 months. I've been a big advocate of GTD (Getting Things Done) - David Allens system, and had my own GTD system setup in Notion which I've been using for almost a decade! So to get me to switch systems was no small task. But Notion has become big and bloated, and for a lightweight inboxing system, overkill. Via was the perfect solution here. It allows me to really quickly capture note, and then of course, the cherry on top, it automatically schedules my calendar for me.

It's been a game changer.

There were a few kinks early on, but they launched with a few early-adopter communities (I was in one of those) and quickly implemented the feedback given. Well done team!

What's great

Running multiple companies means there’s always something urgent fighting for attention.

My issue was never having enough tasks to do; it was knowing which task actually deserved my time right now.

Via has been really helpful for that. I can throw in everything that’s on my mind across different projects, clients, and companies, and it turns the mess into a schedule I can actually follow.

What I like most is that it doesn’t just help me stay busy. It helps me focus on the right thing. When meetings move, or something unexpected comes up, I don’t have to rebuild my whole day from scratch. Via adjusts it and gives me a clear next step.

The brain dump feature is simple but honestly makes a big difference when your head is full of 20 different priorities.

Still early, but this already feels like a tool I’ll keep using every day. Nice work, Alex.

What's great

Brain dump and using that data to schedule the tasks!

I use multiple tools for different purposes. Any do for planning my tasks and schedule, Apple notes for brain dump, saving all other docs and info in Notion. This one tool changed everything!

What needs improvement

Native desktop apps!

What's great

I've been using this app for a few weeks and I'm really impressed. The features I like most are AI task scheduling, the clean UI, and fluid design. Task categorization and labeling and scheduling make it easy to manage my work effectively. The metrics help me track my daily workload and progress.
