I’ve spent more than 20 years in ministry, and one challenge keeps showing up: many people genuinely want to grow spiritually, but struggle to build a consistent, meaningful rhythm of spending time with God. That became the starting point for VIA. We didn’t want to build another app primarily focused on consuming Christian content. We wanted to create something that helps people actually practice discipleship — engaging Scripture, praying, reflecting, worshiping, memorizing Scripture, and growing alongside someone else. As we’ve built VIA, our approach has become simpler. Instead of prescribing one perfect “quiet time,” VIA asks: **How do you want to spend time with God today?** From there, people can choose an experience that fits where they are while still developing healthy spiritual rhythms. One of the biggest things we’ve learned is that flexibility and consistency have to work together. Too much structure can feel formulaic; too little structure makes it hard to build a habit. We’re trying to find that middle ground. That’s also why I’m excited to bring VIA to Product Hunt. I’d love the perspective of people who think deeply about products, UX, and habit formation.
