I built VETO around a simple idea: being able to afford something doesn't automatically mean you should buy it. Most purchase decisions happen somewhere between “I want this” and “Can I afford this?” — but there isn't much helping with the question in between: “Does this actually make sense?” VETO is my attempt to make that decision easier. You enter a purchase, evaluate the cost, usage, affordability and value, and VETO gives you a clear outcome with the reasoning behind it. It’s intentionally simple, requires no account, and doesn’t store your financial information. I'd genuinely like to hear where this kind of tool is useful — and where it isn't.
