Once, with some friends, I wanted to go on a vacation. I looked for the best app possible on the market: nothing. Or at least, nothing simple enough so my friends wouldn't say no. So I decided, why not make it myself 🤷‍♂️ Some months passed, some new users signed up... Then came the chess era, where I played for 2 years in the biggest chess club in France. The president told me he wanted something to send SMS automatically to his members (about events, tournaments and so on). Then I thought... why not make SMS invitations available in my app directly? And so I did. He never had this kind of engagement. People were answering directly to the SMS invitation, and we could tell with 98 percent precision how many people would be there. Then I made a whole system for B2B: SMS, emails, push notifications. I made a system where professionals could sign up their structures and automatically fill their database (available on Vesper webapp) with interested people. To tell you a little example: one time, that same chess club had to host some foreign players (you know how it is for non profit organizations). The club couldn't pay in totality the hosting cost. So we sent an SMS to the 700 members saying "The chess club needs you ! vspr.at/survey" with a link leading to a survey asking if people would want to host those foreign players for a couple of days. We managed to find a place for everyone, 2500 euros saved for the chess club !! 🎉🎉 I have plenty of other stories, it's a long journey. Today I want to focus on the product, test it, see what people use the most. Thanks a lot for reading me.
