One thing that would make VertexStay even more useful is a built-in guest messaging tool that lets hotels send pre-arrival and checkout texts or WhatsApps directly from the PMS, so staff don't have to jump between apps to communicate with guests.

the platform sounds solid for daily operations but honestly a built-in channel manager that syncs with OTAs like Booking and Expedia would save so much hassle. right now it seems like that's missing or at least not obvious from the description, and dealing with double bookings manually is kind of a nightmare

Our current focus has been building a reliable foundation for day-to-day hotel operations, but channel manager integrations are definitely on our roadmap. We know how important real-time availability is for preventing double bookings and reducing manual work.
