I built Vero because I kept seeing the same thing at uni. Smart people getting rejected from IB and consulting with no idea why. Not unqualified. Just blind to where they actually stood.
Career advice is either generic or outdated. Nobody was giving students an honest signal about how AI is changing what employers look for right now.
So I built something that scans your LinkedIn, compares you to people who recently got hired in your target role, and gives you a real score. Not to make you feel bad. To give you something to actually work with before recruiting season.
I scored 52/100 on my own tool. VULNERABLE. Means I understand the market but haven't made the moves that protect me yet. That's the honest answer.
Would love to know if anyone thinks their score is wrong. That's the most useful feedback I can get right now.

Scanned mine out of curiosity and the score felt honest, not inflated. The breakdown of which skills are actually moving in hiring data was the most useful part for me.

how recent is the hiring data you're pulling from, and does it factor in just my role or also the specific industry i'm targeting?

I think this is great idea, but needs deeper role-specific questions and personalization.

@miguel_perea I selected the tech role. I recently switched few months back. The questions were structured around preparation, which I had done. Hence i scored high i guess. When i Mentor, the mentees usually have not started the prep part. It will be more helpful if you can drill in top 10 roles in tech and ask specific question for prep. Eg for Designers - we need case studies and portfolio. You can ask personalize these questions, that will shape the next roadmap output too.
