Veritas is a research agent for people who want the answer, not another chat window. Ask something hard and it returns a Markdown report with a citation behind every claim.
It is built in Python and published under the MIT license. Veritas is a small side-project built mostly for learning purposes (although it remains fully functional and useful). The source is on GitHub, and it runs entirely on your machine against your own model endpoint and search key — no account, no hosted tier, no seat to buy.
