Hey Product Hunt, JB here. I built VendorSnap, the ultimate reseller's tool. For the sellers I meet in thrift stores and antique shops: ten seconds in front of a $12 typewriter to decide, then a weekend at the shop ringing up sales on a notepad. Crosslisters assume a desk. Point your phone at an item. AI names it, prices it from eBay comps, calls BUY, MAYBE or PASS. One photo lists it on eBay, Etsy and Facebook. Sell it in person and the listings come down. What do you check before you buy?
Hey everyone, JB here, maker of VendorSnap, the ultimate reseller's tool.
Here is the problem I actually built this for. Every reseller I know has a backlog. Bins of stuff they already paid for, sitting in a closet, not listed. Not because they are lazy. Because listing one item means writing a title, picking a category, grading condition, typing a description, staging a photo that does not look like it was shot on a carpet, and then doing the whole thing again for the next marketplace. An hour of evening for three listings. So the pile grows and the money stays in the bin.
An item that is not listed cannot sell. That is the whole thing. Every day it sits in a bin is a day it is not in front of a buyer, and your cash is stuck in a closet instead of funding the next source run. So the product aims at one number: how fast you go from "I just bought this" to "it is live everywhere and can sell."
You source the item. You photograph it in the app. AI names it, pulls real eBay comps and calls it BUY, MAYBE or PASS with the profit math shown. It drafts the title, category, condition and description before you type anything. One tap on Photo Cleanup puts the item on a clean studio background, and to be clear about what that means, it swaps the background only. The item is never retouched, because a listing photo that lies gets you a return.
Then one tap lists it on eBay, Etsy and Facebook Marketplace. Minutes, not an evening. Three marketplaces instead of one, on the same day you bought it, which is three times the chance it sells this week instead of next month.
It stays in sync in every direction too. Sell it in person and the online listings come down. Sell it on eBay and Etsy comes down with it. You never sell the same flip twice.
Free tier is a real tool, not a trial. Pro adds the online listings.
The two questions I actually want answered by the resellers here:
1. Be honest about your backlog. How many items are sitting unlisted right now, and what is the real reason they are still there? I want to know if it is the writing, the photos, the shipping setup, or just decision fatigue at 10pm.
2. What is your actual lag between buying something and it being live for sale? Same day, next weekend, whenever you get to it? And when you have listed something fast versus letting it sit, did it sell any faster? That is the number I am trying to move, and I would rather hear real ones than my own assumptions.
